1. Research, research, research -  Putting in some leg work online - whether you're looking up venues or vendors - might lead you to unexpected (and valuable!)resources.
2. Bringing back business casual - Attendees cut down on toting suits (and save cash by only bringing carry-ons) because guests are dressed down, you can save money on decor by keeping the vibe cool but not extravagant.
3. Make roomies -  If some guests can't foot the bill staying at the same resort where the meeting is held, offer to have them double up with friends from work.
